Last week we hosted our very first Style Night for young adults with cancer at Grind Clerkenwell in London. We were so lucky to have the fabulous Monica Harrington and Penelope Meredith presenting their wonderful styling tips and tricks around the latest trends. Along with the awesome Emma Welsh nail technician to the stars, providing manicures for the evening to get everyone's hands looking amazing. So thankful to all of them for giving up their Thursday night. And finally, thanks to Laura for opening the night with how styling helped her to get through breast cancer.

"It is such a good feeling to finally wake up as a cancer patient, and look in the mirror at your changed body and think 'I'm actually really fit.' I wouldn't have got to that point without Trekstock the charity that organises event upon event to celebrate and honour women in their 20s and 30s living with cancer. That room was full to the brim of kick ass ladies, refusing to let their diagnosis wear them." Rosa Hesmondhalgh Trekstock Beneficiary

"It's bloody empowering to see people who've made it to the other side of treatment and loving their best lives." Emma McAuley Trekstock Beneficiary

On arrival everyone had the chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones, over a glass of prosecco and some canapés, before sitting down to enjoy Monica and Penelope's talk. It was a perfect evening with everyone picking some up styling tips, catching up with each other and just having a good laugh!
